Airbag Data is an experimental project to provide up-to-date emergency information to first responders. It is a prototype community service project, created by a top industry product team.

There is an associated web service, which we have taken offline for the moment.

The notion is to create an online community of responders and auto engineers which corrects the repository of information continuously, which is then automatically compiled and available online to subscribers. This is a reasonable solution to the problem of emergency workers. An article about this approach was published in Ward's Automotive, and can be found here.
